25 Songs to Workout With

“Working out,” whether on the treadmill, bicycle, elliptical, or weight room can be both a rewarding and exhausting process all at once. For anyone who has ever given himself the goal of “losing more weight” or “being more active” for a new year’s resolution, he knows very well the difficulties of sticking with such a goal. While the final results of a good work-stronger muscles, less fat-are always beneficial and pleasing, the actual process of achieving such results usually comes with much pain and complaining. Even for anyone who claims to enjoy running, the point at which all of your muscles ache and beg to be relaxed and your lungs are desperately gasping for air is definitely not an enjoyable moment. Similarly, the feeling of soreness that is bound to come in subsequent days after a good, hard workout is generally not too pleasant-even if it is a healthy indicator of a job well done at the gym. However, despite all of the pain for the simple gain of a healthier body, I have found that engaging in exercise can be more fun when you have a great mix of music to entertain and motivate yourself with. Because of this, I have compiled a list of some of my favorite work-out songs-all of which have fast, upbeat sounds to keep your body moving and motivated.
