THE FUN-KEY ONE

Just like ZERO is added and subtracted from every problem automatically:

EVER NUMBER is MULTIPLIED and DIVIDED by ONE automatically.

So:

When you see any number, it is ASSUMED that this number is already multiplied and divided by ONE.

For example:

If you see the number 2

You already know that the equation permenantly attatched to this number is:

2 @ 1

Or

2/1

Or

(2 @ 1) / 1

But the true way to write this out is:

(1 @ 1) (2 @ 1) / (1 @ 1) (1 @ 1)

because EVERY NUMBER is ALWAYS multiplied AND divided by 1.

(1 @ 1) = 1

(2 @ 1) = 2

Therefore:

To solve this equation:

(1 @ 1) (2 @ 1) / (1 @ 1) (1 @ 1)

Do the brackets on the top and bottom first:

1 times 1 = 1 (1@1) = 1 Top

2 times 1 = 1 (2 @ 1) = 2 Top

1 times 1 = 1 (1 @ 1) = 1 Bottom

1 times 1 = 1 (1 @ 1) = 1 Bottom

Which leaves:

1 @ 2 / 1 @ 1

now do the multiplication and division on both top and bottom:

1 @ 2 = 2 Top

1 @ 1 = 1 Bottom

Which leaves:

2 / 1

Then once you have everything else as small as you can get it, REDUCE:

2 divided by 1 = 2

Which leaves

2

Grab a pencil and substitute your own numbers in the equation and play around with them until you get a “Feel” for how and why this works this way. Try it forwards, backwards, even flip it upside down. Just play around with it until you get a “Feel,” for it and it makes perfect sense to you.

You will find the next section in the link marked; “Part 9.”

All of the sections are worth reading because I cover a few things about the way numbers work together that you may not have thought about before; that may also help you to understand WHY certain things are done in certain ways.

If you already know a portion and wish to move on to the next section, it’s ok to skip.

I would, however, ask everyone who visits these pages to please check out the forum too.

If you have a question about math ; feel free to ask it.

If you have an answer to someone’s question ; please feel free to post it.

As with any other topic that I have covered, you are completely welcomed to post your comments and opinions as well; as long as we all keep it pleasant and fun for EVERYONE.

Remember, just because someone may not catch on to this topic as easily as someone else, that doesn’t mean that someone else is smarter than they are. That same person may very well be adept at another subject such as English or History that the person who “Gets” math is not.

Let’s have fun with some Math, shall we? =D.
