Whether you’re a clerical worker or a construction worker being unemployed can be difficult. You worry about where you’re going to find your next check, whether or not you’ll be able to make it through the year, and it can cause a lot of undue stress at home. Tucsonans are no different. Fortunately Tucson Arizona offers thousands of opportunities for the unemployed, and there is no reason why finding that perfect job shouldn’t be easier with the right information.

Tucson is widely known as the telecommunications industry mecca. With our lack of natural disasters, hurricanes, or tornadoes, Tucson is the perfect perfect place to set up a call center for thousands of companies. Many companies offer information lines that customers call to look for info about their services or for a variety of other reasons, and a lot of corporations offer those call centers right here in town. One of the largest companies that has set up camp in Tucson is Geico Auto Insurance. Their call center, located on the south western area of town offers claims, sales, and customer service right here in town. Geico is also the highest paying call center in Tucson.

Tucosn’s local public transportation provider, Suntran, offers a line that customers can call for trip planning services. Their call center is also located on the western side of town, and they offer positions to both english and spanish speaking representatives.

One of the roadside support companies, Cross Country Automotive services also has a location on the eastern side of town located directly off of Research Loop. The company offers competitive pay, and fantastic benefits to their call center representatives, and they also offer positions to Korean speaking agents for their Kia support line.

Another fantastic company to consider while hunting for the perfect job is Afni. They are an outsourcing company that offers customer service positions to a variety of representatives including those who speak a wide variety of languages including Chinese, Japanese, Tegalog, and even Vietnamese. Afni normally does customer service contracts to cell phone providers, and they train you as soon as they hire you.

For most of these positions all you will need is a High School Diploma or GED, and their normally is no experience required.

Tucson also offers a lot of opportunities to Caregivers, with companies like TCH or Aires, caregivers can provide daily living assistance to patients with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Training is offered on site and the only requirement for employment is a high school diploma or GED.
