Upton is a sparkling aquatic gem in the middle of an upbeat, urban community. Like other parks in Northern Virginia, day and all-season passes are available for purchase. Private and semi-private swimming lessons for kids and adults are also available. Fees start at $35 per 30-minute lesson. Contact the pool for further information. Private Swim Clubs
There are several private Swim Clubs in various neighborhoods around Arlington, Virginia that offer adult swimming lessons. Among them:
- Overlee. Adult swim lessons are offered on most Wed. evenings from 8 to 8:45 p.m. These classes are free and for members only. No registration is required.
- Donaldson Run. Adult water fitness classes. Private adult swimming lessons would need to be scheduled with an instructor.
- Arlington Forest Club. Private swimming lessons for adult members may be scheduled by contacting the club at [email protected] .
- Dominion Hills. Time is reserved for adult night swimming (Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-10pm). Depending upon demand, adult swimming lessons are also offered in early evening hours during general swimming for each participating adult of a Membership family. Private and individual lessons may be arranged by contacting the Pool Manager.
