Guests are certainly researching Atlantic City as a vacation destination. “We are truly seeing a continued growth in the Atlantic City visitor base,” said Jeffrey Vasser, who is executive director of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority. “The buzz factor surrounding all the new development this summer alone such as the Quarter at Tropicana shows the depth and diversity of non-gaming attractions are broadening the city’s appeal as a resort destination.”, continued Vasser.
Atlantic City is becoming known for having a variety of entertainment options now. Some of these include the golf courses in the area. Another entertainment option for older and younger guests alike is the Atlantic City Aquarium.
This expansion of entertainment options might be just what Atlantic City, New Jersey needs to become a more popular vacation destination. While it still does not bring in the number of guests that Las Vegas, Nevada does, people are now viewing Atlantic City as somewhere they can go for more than just the gambling.
