BBC World News America aired its first news show tonight. It was actually a news show.
Everything that you have not been hearing in the way of news can be heard now. BBC World News America is NOT a fluff news hour.
BBC World News America is a hard-hitting news show. With in-depth, on the ground reporting in each of the places it reported from.
Matt Frei is the broadcaster. He shows no signs of bias for or against America or the stories he is reporting on.
BBC World News America was refreshing and scarily eye opening. Footage was sometimes graphic, and the reporting was to the point.
Some of the topics covered tonight were Putin, who has decided he is not ready to step down. BBC World News America reported that Putin has told his dominate United Russia Party that he may run for Prime Minister.
Putin cannot run for a third term as President of Russia. It’s been said that he does not want to relinquish his power.
BBC World News America also did an interview with Mrs. Bush. She was quite vocal. Matt Frei asked Mrs. Bush if she was more vocal now that her husband wasn’t running for office.
Mrs. Bush said no, she is just very passionate about women’s rights all over the world. It was a very good interview.
BBC World News America also had a report on Burma. With reporters on the ground, they told of the seemingly crushed rebellion and the fallen from that uprising.
Darfur was front and center on BBC World News America tonight. They told of the shocking attack against 20 UN Peacekeepers.
As reported by the BBC World News America there in Darfur, the soldiers didn’t stand a chance. Many countries are debating on whether to pull their soldiers out.
BBC World News America said there were countries that were questioning whether or not the UN Peacekeepers were even allowed to have guns.
There were stories on the BBC World News America tonight about Syria and their talk of reserving the right to retaliate against Israel for the Sept. missile strike.
The BBC World News America reported on Blackwater, American Presidential candidates, and the meeting between North and South Korea. Also, Pakistan and who would be their next leader was discussed in depth.
I have wanted an American news source that would give me the news of the day. No fluff, no spin. I have found that source in BBC World News America.
I implore you to watch it and remember what a news show is supposed to be. Thank you Matt Frei and BBC World News America!
