They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and with so many great restaurants that serve breakfast in Portland it can be hard to decide where to satisfy your morning munchies. Author’s choice: My favorite breakfast selection is the Amoretto French Toast. The amoretto flavoring blends with the whipped butter and maple syrup to create a melody of flavors that makes waking up in the morning worthwhile.

Author’s choice: When I’m looking for a sugar kick to start my day, I grab a Butter Fingering and let the vanilla and Butterfinger take me away. This is a great way to finish a night out on the town, or kick off a day of city adventure.

Author’s choice: I love the Chef’s Whim Waffle. It’s like “soup of the day”, but with waffles! It’s a great way to try something new for breakfast.

Author’s choice: The Neo Bobcat Omelet is a yummy blend of cheese, avocado and tomato. Try the Cream Cheese with your avocado and tomato, you won’t be disappointed.

Author’s choice: The Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs is one of my favorite all-time breakfasts. Not for the “light” eater, this is a great way to fill up an empty tummy.
