The employers after graduation will be looking for how well candidates can communicate, build relationships and solve complex problems. many don’t have the skills needed. I think they are looking for college graduates, but can they really fulfilled the employers needs. You would think that someone that has been in he working industry for many years would have a better chance but, that’s not always the case. Effective leadership, Communication Skills, and how well they lead team is key but, I think most employers is looking for college grads just because they finish college and not really giving the experience candidates a chance ho have more skills, not to say at all they shouldn’t have a chance but do they really have the skills for the workplace environment. I think the college grads will have all the jobs for the summer.
Even in more technical fields, such as information technology, recruiters are looking for candidates with knowledge and effective communication and leadership skills that could lead in the job market today, so much has changed and if you don’t have the right training you may now get very far without proper skills, by going on numerous of interviews because we have about 1.3 million college seniors who will be out there filling a lot of jobs I just hope they leave some jobs for candidates with years of experiences. But, if they have the skills needed they should have the job or career they’ve been searching for that is only fair. Now it is harder these days to find the right job or career you pretty much have to go back to school to extend your education who have time for that, except for the college grads and they don’t need to go back for any further education because they have just finish college. ,,,
So, whatever career you choose after college make sure it’s one that you like and plan on staying with it for a while because, jumping around from job to job just doesn’t look good on your resume, also make sure you can work well with your Managers and supervisors because that can be a problem to, there are some Managers and Supervisors who don’t know how to manage the department some like to play favoritism and just pick on a certain employees just because they can, there are all kinds of Managers and Supervisor out there just make sure it is one you can work with because if they don’t like you they will find something to say you did wrong just so they can fire you, these type of people have some kind of problems in their personal lives and take it out on the employees that work for them a sad world we live in.
