Then put additional frosting into a piping bag and fill four cake cones with frosting, making the frosting look like ice cream. Place these at the corners of the cake right before serving.

Another fun way to use ice cream cones is to make cupcakes in them. You simply add cake batter to cake cones and bake them inside of a muffin pan. The muffin pan helps prevent the cakes from toppling over. Once the cakes are done, and cool, apply frosting so that it looks like soft serve ice cream. Top with sprinkles and serve.
