I love to cook, my kitchen is where I feel at home the most. There are so many reasons that I enjoy cooking, but what makes cooking even more enjoyable are the gadgets that make my kitchen compleate. No kitchen should be without the basics but there are so many gadgets you wont want to be without.
1. Ajustable Measuring Cups –
These are great for so many reasons. If you are baking and you need to measure out a lot of ingredients than this is perfect because you don’t have to dirty up all of your measuring cups. They are dishwasher safe making them even more convienient. There are a lot of differnet brands but most are approved for both liquid and dry ingredients. These are pretty inexpensive and can be found at places such as Walmart, Linen’s N’ Things, and Bed Bath and Beyond.
2. HowManyDaysAgo timer –
This gets rid of all of the guess work on how long ago you put that tupperware dish in the refridgerator. The best price I found for this great gadget was $10 at www.chefsresource.com
3. Hands Free Can Opener –
This is a great gadget because it not only looks cool it provides you with a clean cut, elimanating those sharp edges. It runs on two AA batterys and they will last about 100 cans. This makes it convienent because you can take it anywhere, such as camping or boating trips. This is a Sharper Image Product and runs for about $25.
4. Cuisinart Soft Serve Ice Cream Maker –
There are plenty of ice cream macines on the market, but none of them make soft serve ice cream. This machine produces professional soft serve ice cream, yogurt, sorbet, or sherbet. All you do is add the ingredients. No more struggling with rock salt and other chemicals. It makes about 1.5 quarts in as little as twenty minutes.It’s available from Frontgate for $130
