For All Vegetarians, Loma Linda's Meatless Veg- Burger

by wet bin

For all of those that are vegetarian’s it’s hard sometimes to find things that have great taste and yet still good for us. But Loma Linda’s meatless veg- burger is made with grain protein. It is low fat and comes in a 1 lb 3 ounce can. You use this in place of ground beef. Worthington Foods manufactures this and they have been in business since 1939.

You can add this healthy beef alternative as a substitute for many of your beef recipes. I like to use this in my chili, burgers, spaghetti, meat loaf, and my lasagna.

This meatless veg-burger adds protein to your diet. A serving size is 1/4 cup and there is 10 servings per this container size. It only has 70 calories so that’s another plus for me to use this item. It’s a low fat version and you get your protein.

The total fat is 1.5 grams and there is absolutely no cholesterol in this product. One more reason I use this product, because I’m watching my cholesterol and this is very important to me, to use a product with a low count. There is 115 milligrams of sodium and 30 milligrams of potassium in this veg burger. But the best thing for me about this wonderful product is that it comes packed with 11 grams of protein.

You get 15% of Vitamin b6 from this can of veg- burger as well as 15% of Vitamin 12. Once you place all your ingredients and seasonings into the mix and prepare it, you’ll never be able to tell a difference in the value of taste. It smells yummy and the taste is absolutely incredible.

Some of these ingredients that gives this product it’s fabulous flavor is wheat flour, celery extract, soy flour, soy protein, salt, and much more. Worthington Foods is a company that has been in business for many years. Since 1939 they started producing and packaging many items.

They sale canned products, as well as veg- links and stake let patties, as well as chicken substitute patties and dinner roast. You can purchase all natural products or organic. From vegetable scallops to canned meatless chili, the choices not limited to just one thing.
