Select 8-12 free printable Mother’s Day coloring pages from the websites listed above. Print each one out. You can add more or less pages if you would like. Use 2 blank sheets of paper for the front cover of your Mother’s Day coloring book and for the back cover.
Use crayons, markers or colored pencils to design a coloring book cover for mom’s coloring book. You can color a picture of mom and put “Happy Mother’s Day” on the cover or you can write “I love you Mom” or even “Mom’s Coloring Book”. The cover art of the coloring book is completely up to you.
Now you can color the free printable Mother’s Day coloring pages you printed out or you can leave them for mom to color. The choice is yours.
Stack the pages together then use the three-hole punch along the right hand side of the papers. This will create three holes spaced equally apart along the side of the coloring pages.
Thread the ribbon through the holes in the coloring pages. Tie off in small loose pieces. This will be the binding for your Mother’s Day Coloring Book. Remember to tie the ribbon loosely so you can open the coloring book pages.
Look through each coloring page you decided to print. If it reminds you of a situation with you and your mom write a note at the top such as “Remember picking flowers together”, “I picked out this picture because the flower is as beautiful as you” or simply add “I love you Mom!”
Give this gift of free printable Mother’s Day coloring pages in the form of a Mother’s Day Coloring Book on Mom’s special day. Mom will be delighted about the thought and savings you put into this gift!
