There are some exciting and great Halloween festivities this year for children in and around Los Angeles. If you live anywhere near these locations, you should consider stopping by because they look to be extremely worthy. I’ve selected events that are suited for children of all different ages and they look to be quite entertaining. So without further ado, let’s get to the list!

The Los Angeles Zoo is having a lot of fun this season by getting into the Halloween spirit at their animal park. Kids are especially welcome here as the zoo will be having music, crafts for Halloween, face painting, performers, creepy crawlers and of course treats! It is sure to be enjoyable for the entire family. You only have to pay the price of admission here. By the way, if you show up in a costume, you get a slight discount of $1.00 off your entrance fee!
The Witch’s Castle
Location: The Witch’s Castle, 4218 Shadyglade Avenue, Studio City
Date: October 30th and October 31st
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Halloween it is 6:00 p.m. until when?
Now this is something really interesting. These yard haunts here have apparently gone on for two decades now to entertain the children. That’s quite a while! The day before Halloween, visitors can have a sample of some of the special effects that they will be displaying the following day. Then of course on Halloween, it’s pure fun and entertainment where you will take a walk through and pass by some tombstones, you might see some skeletons or even pumpkins and of course you will come upon the one and only who owns the castle, the witch herself! She will be passing out the candy. If anyone who visits is 8 years or under, he or she must bring an adult.
Knott’s Berry Farm’s Halloween Treasure Hunt Camp Spooky

The people at Knott’s Berry will be turning their farm into Camp Spooky this Halloween season! All sorts of exciting events will take place such as taking a journey through Captain Jack’s haunted maze, viewing a pirate show, searching for hidden treasures and we can’t forget the rides! It’s all about the rides isn’t it? All of this for the price of admission? Sounds good! Oh and it wouldn’t hurt to show up in a costume as they are welcome here. So come and celebrate the Halloween season at Knott’s Berry Farm!
