Maybe by checking out these articles, learning about our different presidents, it’ll be easier for you to make your decide when it comes time to cast your vote. This is a few of the best AC articles on our first president, Mr. George Washington – not to be mistaken with the abbreviation George W.

Not only does author The Outlaw give us some interesting facts about George Washington, but also information on his life and political carreer. You can probably find some of the info in this article in any American history book. But it’s the pizzazz The Outlaw puts into the words that makes this article a great read. The Presidential Election of 1788: George Washington and a New Nation written by AC Producer N. Katers
Not only is this an awesome idea but the way author N. Katers writes this article is ingenious. It’s short and long at the same time. For the most part, N. Katers doesn’t leave much space in between each sentence. The article is wrappped into one nice page and three paragraphs. The Presidential Election of 1788: George Washington and a New Nation is a quick but overall fulfilling read. N. Katers doesn’t say much about George Washington’s days in the military, but makes comparisons between modern presidential elections and that historical day of 1788 when George Washington took office. We even learn some interesting facts on what the voters of that time thought of our soon-to-be first president. Needless to say, it’s a great article. I didn’t know George Washington was campaigning against John Adams.

First President George Washington written by AC Producer Andrea Deveaux
Here’s a long lesson on the life and political times of George Washington. Not only does author Andrea Deveaux give her readers a step by step education on the political career of George Washington, but she also talks about politics in a very decisive way. Here are the facts, and here are her own assessments of politics. I liked reading this 4 page article a lot. I never thought I would as much about politics and George Washington as I did reading First President George Washington. Did you know Thomas Jefferson was the first Secretary of State? I didn’t until I read it in Andrea’s article. Did you also know that George Washington faced some budgetary problems due to the costs of the American Revolution when he first took office? That’s some in-depth research right there. Bravo, Andrea. This is a great article for history buffs – like me, and people with any political interest whatsoever. My only complaint is that First President George Washington may be just a hair too long.

President Bush Honors George Washington written by Brian Tubbs
If you think this article reads like a CNN news broadcast, you’re not the only one. It’s almost too well-written. But, let’s say for argument sake that this is completely original and author Brian Tubbs just did a lot of great research for this news clipping. It’s an essential read if you love your history, recent news, and modern politics. Overall, it’s a nice, quick read with strong opinions almost glaring up at you from both pages. We get quotes from the book, George Washington’s Leadership Lessons and George Bush himself. We find out how much respect the old man has for one of the four fathers of our country. Let’s just not discuss what Bush and others in the past have done with the priveleges handed down to them by those rebellious dreamers.
