Taken from a previous article written Halloween Events In Denver, Colorado, one of the best places to take your children this year for Halloween has to be Boo at the Zoo hosted by the Denver Zoo located at 2300 Steele Street, Denver, CO 80205 will be letting children strap on their masks and become a Zooper Hero on Saturday, October 27th and Sunday, October 28th from 9 in the morning until 5 at night. This 23r annual Boo at the Zoo will allow children to experience child friendly trick or treating at more than 25 treat stations throughout the zoo. While trick or treating children can enjoy magic shows, crafts as well as encountering 80 acres or exhibits that features over 3,500 animal residents. The Crazed Cornfield and Colorado Pumpkin Patch which opened up on September 21, 2007, and is open Tuesday thru Sunday at 10:00 a.m. until sundown all the way until Halloween. The Crazed Cornfield and Colorado Pumpkin Patch is located at 104th Avenue and Riverdale Road in Denver, Colorado. What is it you ask? Well the Crazed Cornfield Maze is a 14 acre cornfield maze that will have you searching for a way out as you walk and run through a field of corn. This is great for children of all ages. After fighting your way out of the maze, visit the Colorado Pumpkin Patch with hundreds and hundreds of pumpkins to choose from. Weekends are especially fun when pony rides, petting zoo’s, small rides, jumping castles and helicopter rides are available. Prices are $8.00 for adults, $6.00 for kids 6-12, and children under the age of five are free. So pack your car and take a ride to the wonderful, exciting, Crazed Cornfield and Colorado Pumpkin Patch.
Bugaboo located at the Butterfly Pavilion at 6252 West 104th Avenue is two fun filled days October 27th & 28th, between 10:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. At the Bugaboo, kids will be able to Trick or Treat, play bug bingo, have cockroach races, listen to creepy crawling stories, do a lady bug toss, get creative with exciting pumpkin decorating, learn and watch as people make funny balloon animals, and enjoy face paintings to your liking. Price for Bugaboo is $7.95 for adults, $4.95 for children 3-12, $5.95 for seniors 62 years-old, and kids under three are free. So dress up and enjoy the loads of spooky fun the Butterfly Pavilion has to offer you and your family.
Fat City Entertainment Center located at 9670 West Coal Mine Avenue, is celebrating 5 years on October 27th, between 11:00 – 4 :00. For parents and children 12 years-old and under their will be fun activities, trick or treating, and a free costume contest for all to compete in. The Halloween activities are all free to the public. Afterwards, children and parents can enjoy other activities such as bowling, skating, laser tag, a three story foam factory, miniature golf, arcade games, bumper cars and take a break to get something to eat and drink inside of the restaurant.
