To Make a Halloween Graveyard Shower Curtain You Will Need:
Pre made white, black, or blue shower curtain (fabric please)
Felt (white, back, yellow, orange, and green)
Grey fabric paint
Tips: Sheets, covers, or fabric from the store will work in place of an expensive shower curtain.
To get started you want to lay out about a yard of burlap fabric. Cut this into small gravestone shapes. You can make these as large or as small as you want. I like to make three large stones and three smaller stones, this way you can create a sense of depth.
Now, you wan to apply some no Frey to the edges if you have some, if not, then the fabric glue and paint will be fine.
Take your gray fabric paint and you paint brush. You can dry brush or completely paint each gravestone for your Halloween shower curtain gray.
Let this dry before you use some black paint to write on the tombstones.
Use the orange felt to cut out ghosts. Felt is an awesome fabric because it does not fray and comes in so many colors.
You can cut eye and a nose out of the black felt an glue them onto the ghost’s face.
You will also need to cut out a fence for your graveyard. Simple vertical strips of felt in brown, black or gray will work.
To assemble to pieces of your Halloween graveyard shower curtain go ahead and lay your pre made shower curtain out flat on the ground.
First you need to lay the tombstones in place. Liberally apply fabric glue on the back and lay them in place.
Now, the ghosts. Have the ghost look like they are floating up out of the gravestones on the Shower curtain.
You can even add grass cut out of green felt as well. Just cut tuffs or strands of grave. Place a piece sticking out of the base of the gravestone son the Halloween shower curtain.
To finish off you wan tot have your fence around the Halloween graveyard running along the front of the shower curtain.
Start on the left running the slats across the front.
There are so many details you can add to your Halloween graveyard shower curtain. Get creative with the felt, burlap and fabric paints and have some fun with the kids.
