These simple Halloween skeleton party invitation are made from leftover food materials you already have around the house. Kids can use leftover pasta to make this fun Halloween skeleton party invitation and send them out to their friends at school.
I bet a grandparent or two would also live to get this Halloween skeleton card in the mail!
To Make Halloween Skeleton Party Invitation You Will Need:
Card stock or construction paper
Go ahead and lay out a sheet or two of newspaper out in the yard. Sprinkle some pasta over the newspaper.
Take a can of spray paint in white or white paint and paint brushes and paint ht macaroni white. Little kids may need to paint their macaroni white.
If you do not want to waste any macaroni noodles or other pasta making this Halloween skeleton card, then have the kids lay out the piece of their skeleton first and then paint.
Don’t feel limited to simple macaroni noodles when making your Halloween skeleton. Rotini, pin wheels, and other pasta make great bones on this Halloween skeleton.
Hey, why not even try one bow tie pasta to dress your skeleton up!
It also looks really cool if you add some glitter to your “bones” while they are drying.
Older kids may also have fun trying to mix cream or bone colored paint and creating more realistic skeletons.
Now, once the paint and glitter has dried on the past you want to start gluing the bones to the Halloween card.
A simple white glue will work fine for this.
Have the kids prearrange their macaroni and noodle bones into the shape of the skeleton.
Pick each piece up one by one, add some glue to the black, and then press into the card.
If you are in hurry, then use hot glue.
Tip: When folding yoru black cardstock in half to make the body of the Halloween card try scoring the fold on the inside. Mom or Dad can do this with an exacto knife.
Scoring the paper but not cutting through, will allow the card to fold flatter and look more professional!
Older kids may be able to score their own black paper, but young children simply should not use an exacto knife.
Another options is to buy pre made black cards at the craft store.
Once the skeleton has dried in place you can write the party invitation info inside and mail the Halloween skeleton party invitations ot friends and neighbors!
