Holiday Trolley, Electric City Trolley Museum Association, Scranton, PA. Santa will be riding the trollley the first two weekends of December. The Satarday and Sunday excursions are at 10:30 am, noon, 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm. Trolley excursions follow the fath of teh famous Laurel Line electric interurban railroad.l Scranton was the first city in Pennsylvania with a successful pioneer trolley line. Scranton became known as “The Electric City.” The trolley museums, crated by the Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority, is representative of electric railway history in eastern Pennsylvania.
North Pole Express, Gettysburg Express – Pioneer Line Scenic Railway, Gettysburg, PA. Ride with Santa and his elves aboard the North Pole Express. The Gettyburg Express takes passengers of a journey through early American history. The 16 mile train journey travels thorough the Adams County couintryside. Snow Dog Express. Kiski Junction Railroad, Schenley, PA. This is a working freight and tourist shorline that offers scenic train rides. The lineis part of a railroad that was originally chartered in 1846. The Snow Dog Express runs December 8-9. Bring you letter to send to Santa. “Sammie Klaws” is played by a dog named Taffey. 10% of proceed will be donated othe Orpahnas of the Storm animal shelter.
