Here is a brief description of the cast of House:
Dr. Gregory House played by Hugh Laurie: Brilliant diagnostician with no bedside manner. He is crippled in one leg and addicted to painkillers, which almost landed him in jail at one point. He often directs his team of experts who reports their findings to him. He has little or no actual contact with the patients.
Dr. Lisa Cuddy played by Lisa Edelstein: Dean of Medicine and Hospital Administrator. Dr. House’s boss, with whom he is in constant conflict. When Dr. Cuddy and Dr. House aren’t arguing, there is a strange type of affection and attraction between the two. When House was on trial for stealing prescription drugs she lied under oath to save him from going to jail.
Dr. James Wilson played by Robert Sean Leonard; Dr. Wilson is the nearest thing that Dr. House has to a friend. They were even roommates for a while. Even though House is ofter nasty and difficult to be with, Dr. Wilson hangs in there for reasons that are sometimes difficult to fathom.
Dr. Eric Foreman played by Omar Epps. Neurologist who is part of Dr. House’s team. He resigned from the staff because he didn’t want to turn out like House, to which House replied “It’s too late”. Dr. Foremans argues with House regularly.
