No more stumbling in the dark, sort of, to find the one circuit breaker for that outlet. Simply plug in the digital receiver of the Ideal Circuit Breaker Finder and go to the panel, pass the Circuit Breaker Finder over the breakers once to calibrate the tester and again to find the breaker. The finder will beep an audible alarm and the green led will light when it is on the correct breaker. The first pass will have several beeps and lights when you pass the finder over the breakers as it is checking the signal strength.
The Ideal Circuit Breaker Finder is very easy to use and such a handy tool for checking electrical wiring that it is a Blue Ribbon Tool in my tool box. Ideal Industries has been making electrical tools and testers for years and I can assure you that they make high quality tools for the home owner as well as professional electricians. Every professional who works on electrical circuits needs to be sure they are doing the work safely and the circuit breaker finder is an easy and quick way to check the breaker location, correct wiring and to test a GFCI outlet.
Ideal Industries has been manufacturing electrician tools and data communication equipment for a long time with its start in 1916. They are a highly reliable manufacturer and take pride in the quality of their manufacturing and customer service. I should know, I used to work with a supplier of theirs just across the street in Sycamore, Illinois. They had demanding quality control standards when I worked as a Quality inspector for their supplier so their products were made from the best quality materials. Today that same quality is an example of the industry and Ideal Industries takes pride in their products and service they offer to customers.
The Ideal Circuit Breaker Finder #61-534 is the perfect at home tool for the home handyman who does not have the luxury of an assistant to stand and tell him when the light went out or the radio is no longer playing. This was the tried and true method of the electrician and why so many job sites had radios. Not for the enjoyment of the workers but as the outlet tester for the electricians to ensure they had the correct outlet and that it was off before working on it.
Okay, so it may not be totally true but I have seen electricians do the radio bit for finding the correct breaker but with the Circuit Breaker Finder with Digital Receiver you can avoid this sometimes fallible system for finding breakers.

For us computer geeks, uh specialists this handy tool makes finding the breaker for the circuit that our most precious and trusted equipment is on as simple as passing the finder over the breaker box a couple of times. The circuit breaker finder works by sending a signal through the finder to the receiver and back again. This signal passes through the breaker and on the first pass over the breakers the finder will self calibrate. The second pass you make over the breakers will find the correct breaker that the receiver is plugged into.
The Circuit Breaker Finder is very handy for those that do not have an assistant or when a breaker panel is a long way from the room you are checking. For electricians and home do it your self people this is a must have tool. The receiver is also a circuit tester for correct ground, voltage and wiring as well as GFCI outlets. Simply plug in the receiver to an outlet and the lights on the end will show the current condition of the outlet from correctly wired and grounded to you better shut off the power immediately, just kidding.
The GFCI outlet tester is a very safe and easy way to test the GFCI outlet to ensure it is working correctly. The test button will short the circuit momentarily and you will be testing the outlet for proper ground fault operation. The GFCI outlet should trip when pushing the test button on the receiver, if it does not either the GFCI outlet is improperly connected or needs to be replaced.
The GFCI outlet is check for proper wiring just by plugging in the receiver so you should get the correct wiring from the LED’s when you plug in the receiver. You can verify if it is wired correctly from the start and that would leave a faulty outlet if it is wired correctly.
Using the Ideal Circuit Breaker Finder is easy and a great way to find the breaker for a particular outlet and also check outlets for correct wiring and test GFCI outlets. The Ideal Circuit Breaker Finder with Digital Receiver is an ideal companion to any electricians tool bag or home handymans tool kit. I highly recommend the Ideal Circuit Breaker Finder with Digital Receiver and give it the Blue Ribbon for outstanding products.
