The dining experience is casual and yet refined, and the prices do not hit too hard on your pocket book. It’s the perfect place to take your friends to a nice dining experience when you really want them to experience Chicago, and the menu is extensive enough to suit everyone’s palate, with selections ranging from seafood to sandwiches to more traditional entrees. Or, if you are wanting to take your sweetheart out for a night on the town, this is also the perfect place with it’s cozy lighting and conversational atmosphere with still enough privacy to make the night memorable.
APPETIZERS: Try Coach’s Pot Roast Nachos for $14, so delicious with it’s pot roast, sour cream, jalapenos, scallions, and cheddar-jack cheese; or the popular Cowboy Oyster Shooters for only $2, that come in a shot glass with Tabasco vinaigrette; the exotic Crispy Tuna-Avacado Roll for $13, which is tempura-battered with Yuzu Ponzu for dipping purposes; and even the very tasty Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings for $10.
LUNCH: Maybe you’re in the mood for a great big fresh salad, in which case they’ve got you covered – including the Marylan Crab Cake Salad, $16, which comes with everything from the delicious Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes to fresh goat cheese; or if you’re in the mood for an entrée, they’ve got everything from Linguine with Shrimp and Crab, $15; Cashew-Crusted Tilapia, $15; to a great selection of burgers and sandwiches like Chipotle Blue Cheese Burger, $11; Prime Rib Sandwich, $16; and a delicious Pulled Pork BBQ sandwich for $10.
DINNER: The menu here is so extensive, and you may have a hard time narrowing your selection down! But a few favorites of the general Chicago crowd include one of the restaurant’s great steaks, ranging in price from around $27 on up to $49 (for a 30 oz. “Tomahawk Steak”). The seafood selection is good, too, including BBQ-Glazed Salmon, $26; #1 Hawaiian Bigeye Tuna, $32, which is fresh tuna seared rare and sliced, then serve with wasabi, pickled ginger, and ponzu. There’s also lobster, crab, and other fish selections to choose from. Or pick something else equally delicious, like Coach’s Meatloaf Stack, $16, served on yummy jalapeno cornbread with BBQ sauce, onion crisps, and smashed potatoes; Barbequed Baby Back Ribs for $24; or even go with a homemade pizza like their Classic Margharita Pizza for $10. And if you’re with a small group of up to 4, you may really enjoy the Chilled Shellfish Platter for $49, which includes Alaskan King Crab Legs, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters on the Half Shell, and Tuna Tartar.
