Are you looking for North Carolina Water Parks? Well read on as you have come to the right place. Water parks are a huge attraction during those hot summer months for kids and adults alike. Nothing beats a great amusement park and combined with the ability to get wet on a hot day is fun indeed. I will include a website link with each North Carolina water park listed; any prices or promotions mentioned here are subject to change of course. Please make sure you wear some waterproof sunscreen when you go to the water park of your choice.
Boomerang Bay at Carowinds
One of the great things about Boomerang Bay is that you also get to enjoy North Carolina’s best amusement park, Carowinds. Boomerang Bay has Bondi Beach which is a huge wave pool very popular with the kids. Crocodile Run is a 1,000 foot long river that people can tube on. That is just a couple of the attractions at Boomerang Bay at Carowinds; check this website for more information.
Wet’nWild Emerald Point in Greensboro
Wet’nWild Emerald Point in Greensboro North Carolina is probably our best known water park in the Tarheel State. You can check out their website here, and if you sign up now for their news you could win 2 tickets. 36 rides and four million gallons of water are available for your pleasure. Life jackets are offered to the kids and weak swimmers for some parts of the water park. There are plenty of places inside Emerald Point to get some good food and drink while you are there. Right now you can get a season pass for (for certain days and times) $54.99.
My favorite ride at this North Carolina water park is the Runaway Raft Ride which goes down a 600 foot flume. I also like the Leisure Lagoon which only goes to 3 and ½ feet deep and is a relaxing place to just wade around. Check the website linked in the first paragraph for more rides and price information.
Jungle Rapids in Wilmington
Check their website here for pricing and water ride information. Jungle Rapids is located at 5320 Oleander Dr. Wilmington N.C. 28403 and you can call here 910-791-0666 for more info. Jungle Rapids is a diverse North Carolina water park as they offer laser tag, Go Karts and may other non water activities. They also offer free parking which is a nice perk.
