I was not familiar with Village Naturals until my daughter left a 16 ounce bottle at my home when she moved out of state. One morning my muscles were a bit sore from exercising the previous day, and I figured I had nothing to lose and gave it a try.
The lotion is a light green color, and comes packaged in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. The front label states that this will relieve muscle tension and reduce aches and pains. It is touted as being a deep penetrating, natural lotion that contains wintergreen, sage and juniper.

How Well It Works
I have tried many products to ease muscle soreness. I’ve used patches, gels, creams and salves. It’s my opinion that most of them smell similar, with minty and camphor odors. Village Naturals has a wonderful wintergreen scent that I love. Most topical products do help ease some of the soreness and gives partial temporary relief. Since so many similar brands do basically the same thing, I prefer to choose a product based on additional information. For me it boils down to ingredients, and it is my personal preference to buy all natural products. Village Naturals Muscle Relief definitely contains natural ingredients!
I often rub this into my skin both in the mornings and evenings. I love to apply it at night after a hot bath. The consistency is a bit watery, but it is not greasy and it does absorb into my skin nicely. I immediately feel the tingling warmth starting to sooth sore muscles, which usually lasts for a couple of hours. This is a feel good lotion. It feels good and it smells good. It also opens up my sinus cavities if I am stuffed up!
If you are looking for a truly natural muscle relief lotion, you might want to give Village Naturals a try.
