Yes this is an art school but it is also a gathering of multi-dimensional young people who want to participate in musical groups, dance, take part in student government or the school paper.
Students may be working hard at Savannah College of Art and Design to develop their art but that doesn’t mean that they don’t save a little time for sports. No this is never going to be a big time football school even though almost half the student body is male. What you can be sure of is that there will be plenty of opportunities for competitive intercollegiate sports in the NAIA in sports like baseball, basketball, soccer, crew, golf and swimming.
The Savannah College of Art and Design also offers intramurals for those students who enjoy recreation but aren’t really interested in intercollegiate competition.
