Shania Twain is one of the greatest musical artists of this generation and her songs have inspired and entertained hundreds of millions of people. Songs like “If You’re Not In It For Love, I’m Outta Here,” “Any Man of Mine (Better Walk the Line),” and “She’s Not Just a Pretty Face” are songs of empowerment, of female strength, of conviction.
Sad to say, these songs held a bit of premonition because last year it was revealed that Shania Twain was getting a divorce from her husband, producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, because of his alleged relationship with Shania’s close friend Marie-Anne Thiebaud, according to People.com.
Now all of that is a whole heck of a lot to handle. For a celebrity of Ms. Twain’s stature, it must be incredibly, unbearably strenuous. Take your time, Shania Twain, take all the time you need to recuperate.
Recently, Shania posted a letter to her fans on her website where she talks about her delay in releasing new music . She talks about caring for her seven-year-old son Eja D’Angelo. And she says she’s sorting through her emotions.
For her fans, Shania talks about how she started writing about other stages of her life “to help take my focus off the current phase I’m going through.” That’s enough said, Shania Twain. The fact that you’re writing songs for her huge fan base to enjoy and experience and share says a lot about why people love you so much.
Here are some free, no-strings-attached, unsolicited song suggestions that, if converted into songs, your fans would surely enjoy. Again, they’re only suggestions, and you surely don’t need any help but this is just for fun.
Focus and attack your emotional pain and take all you can from it. So, you say a close female friend betrayed you in regards to a man? Hell, a person could throw a rock in any direction and find a little lady who has experienced that lately. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. Just means that people can identify with what you’re going through and will understand, so please write a song about this and make sure it’s full of rage.
Loneliness in the Swiss Alps
Star Magazine has reported that that Shania has a Switzerland home. If you are there now, Ms. Twain, please, please write something about the Swiss Alps and feeling lonely amongst those big mountains, and maybe a little extra about an avalanche of loneliness and how you kicked its butt.
Shania Twain is going to have a fabulous next album and her rabid fans look forward to it with great anticipation. Fans, be ready for her, be ready to scream for her in concert so she knows you’ve missed her. In her toughest times, she was out there writing songs for you, her die-hard fans.
Shania Twain has been through an awful out lately, but her lessons are lessons for everyone else too. A woman should expect one hundred percent from her man.
If that’s not going to happen, well, like it says in one of Ms. Twain’s most popular songs, “If you’re not willing to give it all you’ve got…I’m outta here.”
