With the landscape and scenery offering a unique artistic experience in and of itself, the city of Boulder is a common attraction among art enthusiasts. In fact, Boulder is probably most notably recognized as the town with the best Shakespeare Festival in all of North America. In downtown Boulder, Colorado, you will find many art galleries offering pieces of artwork for showing and for purchase.
As an additional vacation attraction to the art enthusiast, consider visiting Moscow, Idaho. With many artists migrating to this small town, Moscow has accepted in regional artists from the Northwest area with artists turning to sell their artwork in not only Moscow but in neighboring Seattle, Portland and even Sun Valley. In May of each year, Moscow hosts the annual Renaissance Fair which is a home away from home for many artists in that region of the country.
