A girl just can’t have enough handbags or purses . With each season, comes new fashion trends, and with each new fashion trend comes new colors and styles. It’s so difficult to keep up with it all! To make it simple, you can find everything you need to know about the Spring 2009 handbag trends within this article.
What’s popular from the top designers? Even if we can’t afford to actually buy from them, their work is a good resource to use when shopping somewhere less expensive. Take a look for yourself at what some of the more popular designers are coming out with for the new year. Coutorture.com has an ample selection of photos of some of the hottest new handbags for Spring 2009. From top designers such as Christian Dior, Chanel, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, and others, you’ll notice one feature they all seem to have in common. If you look at the photos, you’ll see that they are, almost exclusively, being carried as a clutch or in the hand. There seem to be very few over the shoulder handbags in these collections. Even the larger bags are designed to be carried and not slung.
Louis Vuitton has a fabulous Cruise collection of handbags for the new Spring/Summer line . I spotted a terrific compilation of photos at Nitrolicious.com. Vuitton’s new monogram totes and clutches come in a variety of vibrant pinks and melons colors. These colors just ooze springtime and will go great with light summer clothing.
Check this out! The Karl Lagerfeld Mask Bag is insanely hip, and is said to be the “it bag” of 2009. The bag is a simple black and white, with a photo of Karl Lagerfeld’s face, neck, and upper body – but without the eyes! Pretty ingenious. I was able to find a picture of it at Fabsugar.com., so be sure to stop by and check it out. If you’re interested in purchasing it, you may be out of luck though. It’s said to be flying off the shelves. If you ARE able to purchase one, please don’t walk around holding it like model Angela Lindvall does in the picture. You could have an accident that way!
Coach handbags are probably one of my favorite. The bags are priced much lower than ones made from the top designers, but they are still stylish and durable. The Coach handbags for Spring 2009 look amazing. The Signature Stripe collection features subdued pinks, whites, and neutral tones. Meanwhile the Madison line are primarily leather handbags and totes, still keeping with subtle tones that will be easy to accessorize. The Legacy collection has more of a youthful look with playful metallic and smaller suede selections. You simply cannot go wrong when you purchase a Coach product.
