Place cards have become a wonderful tradition at the Thanksgiving table around the world. Many people place these around the table so everyone knows where they should be sitting. Maybe your family don’t do this at your table. It’s a great tradition to start and letting your children make them, will make them feel very important. Making your children feel important while they are growing up, plays a great role in their self esteem. Start a new tradition this year and hand your children a list of everyone who will be coming to Thanksgiving this year and let them have fun and feel good about them selves.
Apple Place Card Holders
This is enough material to make one place card holder.
Fall Napkin (turkey theme)
Small paper clip (plain or colored)
Peanut in the shell
Froot Loop Cereal
2 Small eyes
Yellow Construction paper
Hot Glue gun, with extra sticks
Apple Place Card Holder Step #1- Attach your eyes to the round part of your almond with your white glue. Set aside so it can dry.
Apple Place Card Holder Step #2- Using your hot glue gun, glue your cereal to the front of your apple. Then glue the almond on the cereal. The almond should be right over the center of your cereal. Then Glue your peanut right below your cereal.
Apple Place Card Holder Step #3- Unfold your napkin one time. Then start folding it the way you would fold a fan. Pull ends of the fan together so you are folding your fan in half. Add your paper clip to the middle to hold it in place.
Apple Place Card Holder Step #4- Bend part of the paper clip so you have a point at the bottom and this can be used to place your fan (tail) to the back side of the apple.
Apple Place Card Holder Step #5- Cut a leaf shape our of your yellow construction paper. Write the name on the middle of the leaf. Using your glue gun, glue your tooth pick to the back of your leaf. Let dry a few minutes. Place the tooth pick on the top of your apple, and your place card is ready.

Thanksgiving Themed Napkins
Cornucopias Place Cards Step #1- Place a small amount of frosting on the bottom of your sugar cone and use that to attach it to your napkin. It wont stick great, but using glue would make this not so edible.
Cornucopias Place Cards Step #2- Using the Orange frosting, Write the guest name in the top of the cone. Using the Brown, draw a leaf or another design on the sides.
Cornucopias Place Cards Step #3- Fill cone with your candy and leave some hanging out so it creates a spilling effect. Place around your table and enjoy.
