The 2009 Lollapalooza lineup has officially been released, and as ticket sales start increasing for the concert series, the 2009 Lollapalooza schedule has also been revealed. The 2009 Lollapalooza lineup features quite a few recognizable groups and singers, all geared towards presenting some of their most famous songs. A few of the artists in the 2009 Lollapalooza lineup include Tool, Depeche Mode, The Killers, and Beastie Boys. The 2009 Lollapalooza concert will all be starting on Friday, August 7th and will continue through Sunday, August 8th, with hours upon hours of music taking place on several stages.
The 2009 Lollapalooza lineup doesn’t just include the big bands that are recognizable everywhere, but quite a few smaller scale groups that will definitely add a nice blend of great music and authenticity to the event. Some of the groups that will certainly be interesting to see include The Decemberists, Cold War Kids, Mike Snow, and Bat For Lashes. That’s just the tip of the iceberg though, because there will be more than 100 different bands and musicians performing at some point on one of the many stages at the concerts.
2009 Lollapalooza tickets are still available for the event, with regular 3-day passes, as well as single day passes still available on the Lollapalooza web-site (linked below). The 3-day passes are selling for $205.00, and that allows you to get into all of the events taking place during the weekend. The single day passes are being sold separately for $80 per day, and you can choose to view the schedule ahead of time if you just want to view specific bands. Those individual day schedules are available on the ticket sales pages (also linked on page 2). For those die-hard fans, there are also Lolla Lounge VIP passes available for $850 and private luxury cabanas that can be rented for large groups.
The weekend of August 7th through the 9th is going to be an exciting day for music fans, and the 2009 Lollapalooza is sure to pack a big punch. The Lollapalooza schedule has been set, and now it is just a matter of waiting until the big day when all the bands start taking the stages around 11 A.M. on Friday August 7th. For music fans everywhere, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
