I try to stay healthy as possible. I’m always looking for ways to be healthy without popping a pill. I had read many articles on the benefits of apple cider vinegar, and I decided to give it a try. I have been using apple cider vinegar for over a year, and I love it. I even got my boss on apple cider vinegar. He is enjoying the benefits as well.
Let’s talk about apple cider vinegar. First off, it must be organic, not processed. I prefer Braggs apple cider vinegar. Organic vinegar has the mother in it. Apples are rich in potassium and enzymes. Apples also contain iron,boron and minerals. Potassium is known as the mineral of youthfulness.
Apple cider vinegar has been dated back to at least 3000 B.C. ACV has been used by the Babylonians and Julius Caesar’s army.
In 1492 Christopher Columbus and crew sailed the ocean blue, and with them they took barrels of ACV. It was used to prevent scurvy. It also helped to disinfect wounds and heal them.
So why does the public prefer commercial vinegar? Because they wanted a cleaner look to vinegar, and in turn stripped the vital nutrients from the vinegar.
So manufactures gave the public what they wanted, because they didn’t know any better. They didn’t realize the health benefits of raw, organic unfiltered vinegar.
They gave the public pasteurized, refined, distilled vinegars. What is in commercial vinegar? Grain and water and is distilled with water to 5% acidity. Commercial vinegar has no value or health benefits.
What happens when we have a potassium deficiency? Here are a few examples: Dull headaches upon rising in the morning, dizziness, eyes tire easily, hand and feet feel chilled,muscle aches and pains, hair looks faded and dull, possible hair loss, your mental alertness is off. These are just a few symptoms.
Potassium deficiency can cause many illnesses. Here I will mention a few: High blood pressure, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, kidney stones,lupus. Just to mention a few.
There are so many health benefits using ACV. For instance: Healthy skin. Rubbing ACV into your skin is a good thing. Your skin will look and feel better! It will help you look younger. It will leave your skin so soft. Just fill the sink with water, add 1/2 cup ACV and rub on your face or your entire body. Do this at least twice a week. Don’t wash it off. Plan on a day you don’t need to go anywhere as you will smell like vinegar.
ACV also makes a great toner and loosens dirt from your face. You can do this by adding 3 tablespoons of ACV to a pot of hot water. Cover your head with a towel. Then take a cotton ball with ACV on it, and pat your face to remove more dirt. Repeat at least twice.
ACV works great on sunburs as well. Simply pat on ACV. It will help prevent blistering and peeling. If need you can take an ACV bath. Just pour a cup of ACV to a cool bath.
ACV is great for the hair as well, as it rids the hair of conditioner and hairspray buildup. Your hair will feel so clean and lighter. Not to mention shiny. Back in the day before conditioners, this is what women used. It also works for dandruff and dry hair. There are also hair stimulating mixtures that are said to work. These can be used for thinning or baldness. As a hair rinse: Take 1/3 of a cup ACV to a qt of water. Keep in a plastic bottle in your shower. I shampoo my hair, rinse and spray on the ACV. I work it through my hair and rinse. I only use a little detangling spray to get out the tangles. My hair is always soft and manageable.
Apple cider vinegar is know to treat many conditions. The list just goes on and on. I will try to list as many as possible here.

I could go on about the benefits of ACV and what it does. ACV can be used for bedwetting, kidney problems and bladder problems, arthritis, as a mouthwash, stiff joints, muscle cramps and so much more.

As to how to drink it. That will vary on your taste. I myself just add 3 tablespoons to a bottle of water. I also use straw. You can however drink it with honey added to the water or even in juice. I feel it is better added to water, so there are no other chemicals in my way. You should drink it at least twice a day if possible. As far as topic application goes, I would suggest checking out various sites on the internet, or getting a really good book on Apple cider vinegar. Braggs is the best!
I will not say Apple cider vinegar is not a cure all. Good diet and exercise is important. We all need to help ourselves for better health and well being. That is something you can’t buy in a store.
I have had very good results with Apple cider Vinegar. I have more energy, my skin and hair look great, and I’ve not been sick in a year.
