For many years international health authorites have been warning of a dangerous viral pandemic. Governments keep stockpiles of drugs in preparedness. Although, no pharmaceutical antivirals are likely to be effective against new, emerging viruses. Furthermore, the WHO, with little apparent cause raised the worldwide pandemic alert level to its highest.
As reported in this article, decorated Rear Admiral and Deputy Director of the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Dr. Anne Schuchact said, “I do fear that we will have deaths.” She was referring to inevitable deaths in the United States even though at the time she made that statement no deaths had occurred in the 20 people suspected of being infected by the same flu virus as the one in Mexico City. Numerous other governmental authorities have been warning against the inevitability of a deadly flu pandemic for years.
Consider the fact that when a public health emergency is declared, as it has been in the U.S., the government and the pharmaceutical companies are granted unusual powers. As reported in this article, such a declaration of emergency was made by Homeland Security Director Janet Napolitano on April 26th. Once this happens, new laws are invoked to protect the pharmaceutical companies from lawsuits resulting from injury or death caused by their dangerous drugs.
The origins of the latest alleged pandemic are uncertain, but what is certain is that the chances of bird, human and pig viruses – some of them from Europe – being combined into one through an act of nature is astronomically unlikely. This viral combination could only have been created through careful design. According to Dr. Len Horowitz in his video, “Mexican Flu Outbreak 2009: Special Report,” there is a paper trail of circumstantial evidence to support speculation that the events in Mexico City are the result of contact with materials from a bioweapons lab.
The Government’s Response
Most states in the U.S. have emergency health provisions similar to The Model State Emergency Health Powers Act (MSEHPA) in place, some of which have disturbing implications for the health freedom of all Americans, in the case of an outbreak of deadly contagious flu. According to a Reuter’s article, fueled by hysteria that forced the closure of schools and public events, Mexico’s President Calderon declared emergency powers to seize and run medical tests on people, and to inspect the homes and workplaces of anyone suspected of being infected by the virus. U.S. government organizations have been planning for a deadly flu pandemic, similar to the one that seems to be on the horizon, for several years with similar plans to tread on our civil liberties.
It is possible that our U.S. government officials know something that the general public does not? As discussed in this article, there have been numerous biowarfare attack drills, called State Preparedness Influenza Response Exercises (SPIRE), throughout the country. The government website PandemicFlu.gov gives protocols for such an event.
Furthermore, recent CNN news reports featuring medical experts warn that the flu shots that people may have already received will not protect against this new potentially deadly combination. Meanwhile, there mixed reports from official sources on the subject of whether a flu vaccine effective in combating the swine virus in question even exists. A current Fox News article states that no vaccine exists to combat this new, deadly flu outbreak. Although, according to an FDA press release, a vaccine for H5N1 was approved on April 17, 2007. Whatever the case, it is not available for private purchase, it can only be obtained through government stockpiles.
Neither the government nor the pharmaceutical companies has safe or effective means of treating infected persons infected with this virus. Tamiflu (Roche Holdings) and Relenza (Glaxo-Smith-Kline) are the anti-viral drug recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to control infection by viruses and which are stockpiled by the U.S. government (and other world governments) for emergency disease outbreaks. According to a recent article at Consumer Affairs, these drugs are not effective against the strain of the H5N1 flu virus, allegedly the cause of recent deaths in Mexico outbreaks in the U.S.
All of this information should raise some red flags for you. If you want to remain safe and healthy in the future, you will not be able to rely on the government or world health agencies to look out for you. You will have to take the matter of your and your family’s health into your own hand.
