My back went out last summer and nothing was working, the Ibuprofen, the prescribed pain medicine I had at home. I saw this commercial on the ThermaCare Heatwraps for your back, so I was on my way to our Super Walmart. I found the ThermaCare Heatwraps for your back in the Health area. I purchased 4 boxes. I had no idea how long my back would be out this time.
Come in 2 sizes
Small/Medium Women, if you wear a size 8 or smaller in slacks, skirts pants. Men, if you wear pants with a waist size of 34 inches or smaller.
Large/xLarge Women, if you wear size 9 or large in slacks, skirts or pants. Men, if you wear pants with a waist size of 35 inches or larger.
Back at home I couldn’t wait to put the wrap on, I removed it from its pouch, it was very light and soft to the touch, and it was starting to already get warm. So I peeled off the paper covering the sticky ends, and wrapped it around my waist adjusted it to my lower back it was very comfortable and it was already getting warmer(the section for your back is approximately 16 inches long by about 4 inches wide, with extensions on each end that stretch and wrap around your waist and over lap with fastners, the fastner did not come lose and we easy to unfasten). I sat down to watch some TV, well, the longer I sat the warmer my back got, I had to check every couple of minutes to make sure I was not getting burned. The heat felt so good. I liked the fact that the wrap stayed in place no matter which way I moved. So I wore that one to bed, and put a new one on in the morning before I went to work. Oh, what a relief this heat was doing for my back. That evening after work I did notice that my back was very red, so I took a wash cloth and wrapped it around the heat wrap and safety pinned the wash cloth to itself as not to puncture the wrap. This reduced the redness and I still could feel the heat.
I could feel it was starting to loosen up some of the muscles, what a relief. Well it took me about 6 days and my back was back to normal. The ThermaCare heatwraps saved me a doctors visit.
My mother is a diabetic and she used ThermaCare Heatwraps for her back, and she got burnt, as diabetics as they get older their skin gets thinner). Please ask a doctor before you go ahead and use this product, better safe than sorry.
If you are 55 years or older you should wrap something around the wrap, so you do not burn your skin.
