Now, I am using pre mad eliminate shelves for the basis of these Vintage Wood Shelf Room Dividers. They are cheap, do not require a saw, and can be easily painted to match any décor if needed.
You can also buy these pre made laminate shelves used for very cheap at yoru local Goodwill.
Now, assemble your laminate wood shelves. You want to assemble them, but eave the back panel off of the shelves. If you are buying used shelves that are already assembled, and then you can pry the back off with a hammer.
You will need to pre drill holes through the left and right side and into the shelves, then install screws to add stability. You could also use L brackets.
Go ahead and sand, prime, and paint your laminate shelves if you want them painted. Be sure to paint the aback of this Vintage Wood Shelf Room Divider will be visible from both sides.
Now, measure how tall and wide they are. Cut your chicken wire pieces out to this same size.
Lay your laminate shelves face down on the ground. Lay the chicken wire panels on the back of the shelves. You can attach the wire panels with those U shaped electrical nails to the back.
Be sure to attach in the four corners as well as along the shelving.
