Surprise, Surprise. Paris Hilton was let out of the LA County jail early today because of a medical problem. She can now spend 40 days under house arrest, with that fancy little ankle bracelet to monitor her whereabouts. I watched ExtraTV today and heard about her medical problem that no one would really specify. They said on the today show June 8, that her psychiatrist said that she was close to having a nervous breakdown.
So, she was sent home a little after 2 a.m. five days after she went in with her electronic monitoring ankle bracelet attached. This was a whole big waste of time. Paris cries, can’t eat(yeah, ‘won’t ‘ eat is more like it) and has an undisclosed medical dilemma, and gets to go home. They should have just had her confined to her home in the first place!
Yes, she was pampered, kind of ,in jail. She was placed in a special needs area, separated from the other inmates. It’s an area that is for public officials, celebrities, police officers and other rich people. She was alone. What kind of punishment was that? Her lawyer, Richard A. Hutton said that she was “Using her time to reflect on her life, to see what she can do to make the world better, and hopefully, in my opinion, to change the attitudes that exist about her among many people.” he said after seeing her.
Today, Paris released a statement and she said: “I want to thank the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and staff of the Century Regional Detention Center for treating me fairly and professionally. I am going to serve the remaining 40 days of my sentence. I have learned a great deal from this ordeal and hope that others have learned from my mistakes.”
All the comments on ExtraTV.com about Paris leaving early were negative. No one thought she had learned anything from this experience. Everyone thought it was all about the money, and that her and her friends were laughing now at her ability to leave early. I don’t believe a single word Paris has said. I won’t believe it until she actually proves that she wants to do better. She’s 26 years old, and her life is one big waste. She needs to do something positive and grow up.
All of us are tired of the stories of celebrities who do something illegal and get off because of the fame, and ‘money’. I really thought that putting her in jail was going to stick it to all the celebrities that got arrested as a prime example-boy, was I wrong! To repeat what Kevin’s message said on ExtraTV: Learned what, that money can buy you freedom. Our justice system is a joke.
Paris Hilton’s occupation is socialite, actress, entrepreneur, and recording artist. An heiress to about 30-50 million from the Hilton Hotel and real estate fortune from her father Richard Hilton, nobody really made a big deal over her until the infamous sex tape leaked out on the Internet in 2003. From that point on she was famous as the series, Fox’s The Simple Life was about to air. Some say that it was deliberately to gain publicity. The tape was released on DVD in 2004 where she received credit as director. Paris was also in the horror movie House of Wax in 2005 and released her own album, entitled Paris last year.
Other movies Paris was in were The Hillz in 2004, Zoolander in 2001. She will be in several films, the next being The Hottie and the Nottie in 2008, a movie with Stan Lee, and a cartoon series which is about her life with her sister Nicky and dog Tinkerbell. Paris has also been on quite a few television shows, including the O.C., Las Vegas, and Veronica Mars.
She has also been in several music videos, one being “It Girl” by John Oates. It is from the John Oates: Live at the Historic Wheeler Opera House DVD. John Oates is the other half of the amazing pop rock duo Hall & Oates.
Paris Hilton was driving under the influence in September of last year. Her license was suspended in November of last year. She had a 36 month probation sentence, and $1,500 fine. In February of this year, she broke her probation when she was seen driving 70 miles per hour in a 35 miles per hour zone. The headlights on her vehicle was off in the dark. Judge Michael T. Sauer sentenced her to 45 days in jail for violating probation. It was supposed to start June 5, or her sentence would be doubled.
Paris went to the LA county jail Sunday night, and left early Thursday morning, June 7,of the same week because of an undisclosed medical condition. Now she is happily at home serving the remainder 40 days with an electronic ankle bracelet, that monitors her whereabouts. Paris Hilton has a lot of good things going on in her life, not to mention her inheritance. It’s kind of hard to believe with all these movies, music and other projects that she has so much time on her hands to live so recklessly. Like I have said before, if she truly means what she says, we are all going to have to see evidence, and no backsliding. To repeat what Kevin’s message said on ExtraTV: Learned what, that money can buy you freedom. Our justice system is a joke.
What a dilemma! The judge is ordering Paris to court to see if she should go back to jail for the remainder of her sentence. Duh. When she went home yesterday, June 7, a little before 2 in the morning, it was with the understanding that she stay under house arrest with an ankle bracelet and ordered that she not leave her home until next month. Judge Sauer is the one who said that she could not be under house arrest with an ankle bracelet. I think it’s gonna be a no brainer who is going to win this one.
