When a parent hurts the heart of child
The child feels insecurity from deep within,
He feels being rejected and set alone
And rejoices not with pleasures he once adorned.
He feels a dominant need of acceptance
And a reason behind rejection and blame,
The child is hurt by a grumbling father
And looks for hope ahead.
If the child is a believer of God
He waits for God’s plan,
But if he is not a believer of Divine
His life is all upset.
He thinks of ways to hurt back
His father who has been harsh,
He plans and executes wrong
To bring dust to his father’s name.
He begins to hate his father
And engages self in smoke and harm,
He feels relieved in the company
Of boys with similar dad.
He loves to squander his father’s wealth
And hurt him through ways of shame,
He engages self with women
Without his father’s consent.
He often comes late at home
In the lonely night hour,
He loves being dominating
And demanding in his words and acts.
He is broken from within
For the lack of love and consent,
His emptiness is then filled
With all the drugs and theft.
He is hurtful to friends and foes
He is insane with anger and wrath,
He drops out of school and college
And is never sincere at work.
He marries a minor and then breaks
The relationships with him never last long,
He is lost at heart and hurt by life
He never understands it all.
He then ends up on the desk
Of a competent psychiatrist,
And he tries to see through his life
He finds no moment without unrest.
The anger of his father
Has ruined his life,
And it is too late to start again
He is hurt by life on earth.
He neither holds a good degree
Nor has any experience of work,
His marriage has broken
And friends are selfish with no returns.
He has lost all money
He holds no good character,
He feels that he is a self-indulgent fool
Leading a life of total unrest.
He attempts to kill self
But fails and ends in hospital care,
He sees no hope from even far
He has never been to church for years.
In an attempt to hurt his father
He has ruined his life for long,
And now after his father’s death
He is nowhere with peace of heart.
He still thinks if at all
His father would have been kind,
If at all he would have not been hurt
By his father’s prejudice.
But what now the world will do to him
He in real terms is a bad man,
Hurt and hurting with no peace
There is no place that to him can please.
He sees his only child
Now a grown up boy,
He hurts his only son
To feel less his own pain.
He does that which his father did.
And condemns his boy with disregard,
For his feelings and attitudes.
He drinks and rebukes.
He smokes and smiles
But is never happy from within,
“Several children are lost in childhood
Because their father was never good.”
Because their father never felt their emotions
And offered them just painful rebuke,
Because words that hurt can change lives
And can create bad men from childhood.
But no one understands what fathers are doing
No one questions parenthood,
There is so much of disgust existent on earth
That begins from blows in youth.
And these blows on heart
Are not from friends or foes,
But from parents
Where the youth looks for love not doom.
Society will suffer till childhood and youth
Are neglected and dealt with rebuke,
Several innocent children will end
As adults with crime in name and roof.
