Just a few safety reminders from the National Council on Firework Safety for you to view before going out to purchase your fireworks:
Always read and follow instructions and ensure an adult is always present during all firework activities.
Ignite outdoors only and have water handy.
Light only one at a time.
Never shoot fireworks from glass or metal containers.
Always wear eye protection when igniting a firework of any kind.
Never attempt to re-light a “dud”. These can explode near your hands causing burns. Wait about 15 minutes and soak it in water before disposal.
Take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of yourself and all family / friends who attend your display. Fireworks are dangerous and can react unexpectedly. Have a fun and safe 4Th of July this year!
